This full-service convenience store and gift shop features a large selection of park-themed shirts, sweatshirts and jackets in a variety of adult and children’s sizes. The Camper Store also stocks: post cards, mugs, puzzles, plush animals, games, toys and books. The store’s selection of gifts changes regularly, so new items are always available.

The Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins near the northeast entrance provide the convenience, economy, and security of rustic family cabins. These are the first new accommodations in Lassen Volcanic National Park since 1972. The cabins come furnished with bed(s), propane heater, lantern, bear proof box, fire ring and picnic table. Central restrooms and showers are located nearby. There are 20 cabins total, available in 3 different models: 2 Room, 1 Room, and Bunk Style. Gliding across Manzanita Lake is a magical experience with impressive views of Lassen Peak at the west end of the lake.

Single and double kayaks available for rent, or you can launch your own cartop vessel (e.g. kayak, float tube, or other small non-motorized vessel). Life vests (PFDs) MUST be worn when in a vessel. Life vests are provided with kayak rentals, or can be rented separately.

Fishing

Manzanita Lake is a popular spot for fly-fishing where anglers can catch & release Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. The calm mountain lake setting is a perfect place for beginners and experts alike.

Loomis Museum (Northwest Entrance)

Located near Manzanita Lake, this venerable museum contains B.F. Loomis's fascinating photography of the 1914 eruption of Lassen Peak. On display is the photographic equipment Loomis used to take the photos, as well as traditional Atsugewi (American Indian) basketry.
